John Nee

For nearly 20 years, John has led corporate marketing, product management, and business development teams for innovative, high-growth companies. He started Act 1 Partners to help leaders and their teams realize the full potential of their business.

John has a proven track record of generating record revenue growth and profitability by creating company awareness and brand loyalty by understanding the needs of the customer, analyzing market trends, delivering a powerful corporate narrative, and aligning sales and marketing teams.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Pepperdine University and a MBA from Portland State University.


Tara Hendrickson, CMP

G.M. & Event director

Previously, as a corporate event and marketing manager, Tara had a schedule of managing over 60 events a year. Her attention to detail and diligent project management have produced flawless events of all sizes.

Tara’s experience in both marketing and sales operations, where she oversaw sales enablement programs and awareness campaigns, helps to ensure that an event is aligned with the company’s business strategy, drives company value and produces maximum ROI.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon and a MBA in marketing from Portland State University. Tara is also a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) by the Events Industry Council .
